June 2, 2012 – 9am-4pm - Multiple Locations
On June 2, 2012, the Mayor of the City of Poughkeepsie and the City of Poughkeepsie Common Council are sponsoring “Make Poughkeepsie Shine” Day, which is an effort to clean and beautify the City’s many magnificent public areas.
The Administration and Members of the Common Council hope to make this day as successful as possible by working in conjunction with volunteers, church and school groups, not for profit organizations, and local and non-local businesses.
The purpose of this event is to beautify our City’s public areas, promote a clean City, discourage littering, and improve the appearance and quality of life for the City’s residents and businesses.
