Recycling, Sanitation, & Transfer Station

It is also responsible for street sweeping and the enforcement of sanitation ordinances. In addition, it operates the City of Poughkeepsie Transfer Station, Bulk Service Program, and Composting Facility. The Composting Facility provides free compost to city residents.
