PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Poughkeepsie has completed its 2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The Annual Action Plan outlines the proposed projects to be funded through entitlement funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The purpose of the Substantial Amendment is to revise the CDBG budget for program year 2021. The CDBG funds were originally awarded to Sewer Repairs and Improvements in the amount of ($252,620). The completed project cost less than the allocated amount leaving a total of ($84,000) to be reallocated to eligible Infrastructure projects, namely Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements.
Citizens wishing to comment on the proposed amendment may submit written comments within 30 days of the date of this publication to the Social Development Director, Jaclyn Greenwald, via the following methods:

The City will include a summary of the public comments and responses in the submittal to HUD.
