The city has received a limited supply of COVID-19 test kits and will begin distributing them on a first-come, first-serve basis from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the front desk at the City Police Station, 62 Civic Center Plaza.
The city also will be distributing kits to housing complexes and expects to receive more kits in the near future.
The at-home tests are being supplied by the county to municipalities across Dutchess County based on population. People also will receive information on what they should do in the event they test positive with the at-home kit.
There are two tests in each kit, and kits will be limited to per-person. Proof of residency is required.
